Managing a team you'll be responsible for delivering all sales, account management and sales support activities in defined territories with the following accountabilities:
- Develop a two-year sales growth plan
- Set and review sales targets with senior management on a rolling one-year basis
- Develop and maintain sales and account management plans for new business
- Deliver and exceed sales targets through the management and efficient deployment of the team within the operating budget
- Submit accurate monthly forecasts to senior management for review
- Oversee and approve the sales qualification and review processes for each strategic sales bid. Ensuring our Win Strategy is clear
- Establish effective business relationships with the client(s) and where necessary attend client progress reviews
- Recruit and develop high calibre sales and account management staff as necessary
- Motivate the team, providing coaching and guidance as necessary
To achieve this you'll likely have the following skill set/experience:
- At least 3 years’ successful sales management performance with above target achievement in your most recent sales year
- In-depth industry/market knowledge
- Evidence of board level credibility with previous clients
- Evidence of the ability to motivate, develop and drive staff across complex sales situations
- Evidence of reviewing, leading and advising on account strategies
- Recent evidence of acquiring new business and developing existing business
- Evidence of managing large, multiple and/or complex sales activities
