MS Power Platform Engineer - Contract

Exception is currently looking for a Microsoft Power Platform Engineer to join an existing team.
The role will be tasked with enabling our client’s IT modernisation capability to deliver enterprise level business needs and outcomes, whilst delivering value and exploring transformative ways of working through PowerApps, Power Automate/AI and PowerBI.
 
Experience Required
  • Microsoft Power Platform, e.g. PowerApps, Power Automate and PowerBI.
  • Analysis, design, development, testing and implementation of enterprise scale apps.
  • Developing new PowerApps model and canvas driven apps as well as enhancing existing apps, including the use of Dataverse as a data source. 
  • Understanding PowerApps formulas and development methods. 
  • Automating business processes with Microsoft Power Automate and AI tools
  • Ability to create custom connectors for Microsoft Power Platform. 
  • API or Rest services integrations
  • Understanding of how to implement solutions with multiple data sources
  • Developing Azure logic apps 
  • Developing Azure functions 
  • Providing Power BI reports and dashboards development and support. 
  • Good working knowledge of creating SQL Server database tables and stored procedures Working knowledge of Good working knowledge on .Net, C#, ASP.Net MVC, Entity Framework, Typescript, JavaScript, HTML and CSS 
  • Experience developing modern apps for SharePoint Online. 
  • Experience using Azure DevOps for project lifecycle management (User Stories, Tasks, build and deployment Pipelines) 
  • Experience working on agile projects 
  • Knowledge and experience of DevOps processes.
  • Able to gain or currently hold UK Security Clearance to ‘SC’ level
 
Responsibilities
  • Working with clients and the engagement team to advise and implement Microsoft Power Platform solutions, helping the organisation with wider digital transformation opportunities and needs.
  • Support the full typical software development lifecycle of Power Platform solutions 
  • Design and build no-code/low-code solutions on the Power Platform to support automation, integrations and data flows 
  • Estimating, planning and managing your own work to deliver priorities 
  • Taking responsibility for investigative work to seek effective solutions working with service design, UX/UI, BA and testers.
  • Working with the organisation to understand user and business requirements and application software needs
