As part of the company's ambitious growth plans Exception is looking for a passionate, experienced hands-on marketing professional to support our future growth.

Responsibilities

As Head of Marketing you will:

  • Lead our Marketing team to achieve our agreed objectives
  • Working with the Executive Team to create, design and manage the implementation of the marketing strategy for the business
  • Create and implement a detailed schedule of integrated marketing activity
  • Work with sales and the wider business, to drive forward the marketing strategy
  • Develop engaging, varied content such as blogs, case studies and whitepapers to support our brand and promotional needs
  • Organise and manage external events and where required represent the Company at such
  • Create and manage internal communications, informing and engaging with staff and helping to re-enforce the sense of community within our teams across the UK
  • Lead and promote our Social Value initiatives
  • Create a sustainable customer acquisition operation
  • Creating propositions to reflect market need   

Experience Required

Essential:

  • 5 years plus experience of business to business marketing
  • Hands-on experience of managing successful multi-channel marketing campaigns from start to finish
  • Excellent written English and copy editing skills
  • Numerate and able to interpret data and statistics, proficient in excel and database use
  • Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills
  • Experience of leading virtual teams
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills
  • Able to think creatively to solve problems

Desirable:

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing
  • Knowledge of the IT services and consulting sectors
