As part of the company's ambitious growth plans we are expanding our Finance Team and looking for a Financial Accountant reporting directly to the Head of Finance your responsibilities will include:
- Sales Ledger
- Responsibility for the client invoicing process
- Responsibility for the Credit Control process
- Monthly review of aged debtor’s balance
- Liaising with clients & various internal departments
- Revenue reporting and analysis
- Banking & Cashflow Management
- Reconciling and posting of client receipts
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Monthly Invoice Finance reconciliation & reporting
- General bookkeeping
- Processing staff expenses
- General bookkeeping and ledger maintenance
- Assisting with the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
- Preparing month end journals
- Assisting with external audit queries
Skills & Experience
- To succeed in this role you’ll likely be a part-qualified/ QBE accountant with:
- 2 / 3 years’ experience from either practice of industry background
- Working knowledge of Sage or similar accounting software
- Ideally part qualified accountant with good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficient in the use of Excel
- Proactive mindset
- Good organizational skills with a problem-solving ability
