Financial Accountant

As part of the company's ambitious growth plans we are expanding our Finance Team and looking for a Financial Accountant reporting directly to the Head of Finance your responsibilities will include:
  • Sales Ledger
  • Responsibility for the client invoicing process  
  • Responsibility for the Credit Control process
  • Monthly review of aged debtor’s balance
  • Liaising with clients & various internal departments
  • Revenue reporting and analysis  
  • Banking & Cashflow Management
  • Reconciling and posting of client receipts
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Monthly Invoice Finance reconciliation & reporting
  • General bookkeeping
  • Processing staff expenses
  • General bookkeeping and ledger maintenance  
  • Assisting with the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts
  • Preparing month end journals
  • Assisting with external audit queries

Skills & Experience
  • To succeed in this role you’ll likely be a part-qualified/ QBE accountant with:
  • 2 / 3 years’ experience from either practice of industry background
  • Working knowledge of Sage or similar accounting software
  • Ideally part qualified accountant with good understanding of basic accounting principles  
  • Proficient in the use of Excel
  • Proactive mindset
  • Good organizational skills with a problem-solving ability
