Hybrid (On site 3 days a week)

Full time / Permanent position



Exception is currently looking for a tech-savvy Business Support Administrator, to join our expanding team, based in Edinburgh.

The role will involve providing a wide range of support across our business, covering tasks such as:

Sales Administration

  • Ensuring compliance with our bid process

  • Sales reporting

  • Database management

  • Order processing

  • SalesForce administration (training will be given)

Customer Engagement Process

  • Collating relevant information

  • Providing regular reports

  • Co-ordinating project reviews


  • Ensuring the staff/associate onboarding process for major clients takes place efficiently

  • Providing interview management support

  • Ensuring IT equipment for new starts is set up in good time

  • Manage internal communication platforms (such as Teams and distribution lists)

  • Generate regular progress reports from our CRM for the resourcing team

About You

Whilst you will be supported by the Business Support manager, to succeed in this role you will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

  • Computer literate with a good understanding of MS Office

  • Previous experience with applicant tracking systems and SalesForce would be an advantage

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Good attention to detail

  • Ability to work on your own/manage your workload

  • Ability to liaise with people at all levels
